Queen Rose

The trail is a 21km, (13km & 8Km) two-day, circular route that winds through both the Montrose and Queen’s rivers. On the descent into the Montrose River valley, you’ll find the ideal rest stop at the Alvin Falls, with its deep pool below. The climb going upstream of the Queen’s river takes you up Heaven’s Staircase to the top of the Cupid Falls. Adventurous climbers may also like to ascend up the wild kloofs adjacent to the falls.
